These terms govern use of the Utopia Youth Tutoring platform. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.
Accounts are created by invitation after an application is approved. Parents/guardians are responsible for their own account and for managing their student's sign-in credentials. Student accounts may be used only by the student they were created for, under parental supervision. Keep credentials confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
The platform may be used only for UYT tutoring. Do not misuse it — including attempting to access another user's data, harassing or inappropriate communication, sharing another person's information, or uploading unlawful or harmful content. Messages may be reviewed by UYT staff for student safety, and violations can result in suspension or removal.
Sessions are booked with session credits. Credits are deducted when a session is completed; cancelled sessions are not charged. Credit purchases are processed by Stripe. Scholarship and pricing decisions are made by UYT and reflected in your wallet.
Certain documents (handbook, tutor agreement, confidentiality agreement) are signed electronically in the platform. Your typed signature there has the same effect as a handwritten one.
You retain rights to content you upload; you give UYT permission to store and display it to the people the platform is designed to share it with (for example, a tutor sharing a worksheet with their student's family). Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
The platform is provided "as is." UYT works hard to keep it available and accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UYT's liability is limited to the amounts paid for the services in the preceding twelve months.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the platform. Questions: contact Utopia Youth Tutoring via utopiayouthtutoring.com. These terms are governed by Florida law.
